The Instagram Feed Add-on is a Sana Commerce add-on which provides you with the ability to display Instagram photos on your Sana Commerce webstore.

Information Collection and Storage

Your Instagram login information or content is not stored in the database by our add-on. Our add-on stores only your Instagram Access Token for use in retrieving your photos / videos from Instagram’s API. The add-on will retrieve your content from Instagram’s API and will then be displayed as HTML when your web page is loaded. The add-on does not collect any data from Sana webstore visitors.

Information the Add-on Displays

The add-on will display your photos, thumbnails of your videos, and your Instagram username. In addition, photos and video thumbnails are clickable and contain the link to the original post on Instagram. Your Instagram username will be displayed as a link to your Instagram account.

Reading of Data

The add-on is built to be “read only” and so is not able to publish any data to, or edit any data on, the Instagram platform. The add-on is intended only to display some of your Instagram content and is not able to publish to Instagram or access your Instagram account other than in a “read only” fashion. It does not allow you to like or comment on content, edit or delete photos, or perform any of the other actions that are available on Instagram.

Sharing of Data

We will not share your data with any third parties under any circumstances.

Removal of Stored Data

When the add-on is removed from the webstore, the saved data (stored access token) is deleted from the webstore database. Further, there is an option to remove the stored access token which will remove the stored access token from the database.

Changes to this Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy in the future. If a change is made to this policy that we believe is material, we will update this page. By continuing to use the add-on after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
